Dr. Nolf is a periodontist, a specialist treating gum diseases and implant dentistry. He has pursued a career-long passion for dentistry after graduating from Lehighton area high school in 1971 and Temple University 1975. Earning DDS at Temple University school of Dentistry 1979 and specialty certificate Temple University Graduate Periodontology 1981. Dr. Nolf taught in the post doctoral graduate periodontology residency program at Temple from 1991 to 1999 and Temple undergraduate dental school periodontology from 2009 to 2016.

  • Attended Implant surgical training in 1986 at Branemark Clinic in Goteborg Sweden.


  • Graduate of the Master Clinician program for dental implants GIDE Institute and Loma Linda University, Santa Monica California 2016.


  • Certified LANAP clinician for laser surgery 2019.


  • Certified Vivos Integrated Practitioner for treating obstructive sleep disorders 2019.


  • With an interest in disease risk assessment Dr. Nolf patented the disease risk calculator in 2002 and with periodontist colleagues started PreViser INC which was acquired by Northeast Delta Dental 2018.


  • Over the last 40 years Dr. Nolf has had practices in Lehighton and Stroudsburg with associations in multi doctoral practices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

    As a life long resident of the Poconos Randy is level 2 Professional Ski Instructors of America certified ski instructor teaching on weekends at Big Boulder. Favorite summer activities include hiking, biking, gardening and trying to stay in shape for skiing. Married to Sandra who is a hospital pharmacist with daughters Julia and Amy both with advanced degrees and accomplished business careers.
